Tuesday the 30th.
Had to go all the way down the M1 (about 70 miles) to pick Ange up from where we were meeting. Got there and back in quite good time. Spent the evening pigging out on ice-cream as usual (Tub of Chocolate Midnight Cookies, courtesy of Haggen Dazz), watching Evita on video and playing on the old N64.
Wednesday 31st.
Got up at a reasonable hour. Can't remember what we spent the day doing
except waiting for the vening to come so that we could set off. Set off
to liverpool about 4 ish (I think). anyhow only took me
and Ange about 2 hours to get there over the 'tops' we arrived at Ange's
cousins house (Tracy) where we were meeting tony and getting changed. Well
after about 45 mins. Tony turned up. So we got ready then rushed round
to Lin's (friend of Tracy's)
where we were kipping. I'd never met her before but she was pretty sound.
Presented her with a bottle of wine that me and Ange had got for her which
im sure she was pleased with.
People slowly started turning up and by the time it got to us leaving
there were about 10 of us, so we heads down to the train station (bit of
fiddling with lifts done here) for the 10 minute trip into Liverpool. First
stop of the night was the Cavern pub. The name being famous for a place
opposite where the beetles once played which is now a piece of ground used
as a car park. We stayed in there for a fair amount of time and number
of drinks. The next stop was a place called Arena, which i've visited once
before when i was in liverpool during the summer. Because of this i was
expecting it to be really busy but when we got there it was dead. So we
went on to cream. instead. Now if you've never been to cream i'd definightly
recommend it. It is one of the best clubs i've been in for dancing. I've
only been there twice but i love it. If i had the opportunity id be in
there every weekend; I bet those of you living in liverpool think there
is something wrong with me. Anyhow we queued for a while and went in. The first
stop was the shop for a few bits and bobs. Then the bar, then for some
food, then the dance floor.
I don't recall how long we danced for but my feet were hurting after all
the walking i'd done. The first one to hurl was Ange (Ill get a telling
off now for this), most artistically in a green wheelie bin that was near
one of the walls near us. She soon looked much better after that. Tony
was chatted up by a bloke some time during the night which i bet he doesn't
remember bet he wished it'd been a female that had taken a fancy to him.
Anyhow we left sometime around 2:30 ish (give or take an hour due to alcohol).
We were walking up to get a taxi when we bumped into Lin and the others
who had been to a different club. Lucky because Lin's brother is a taxi
driver so he got us some cabs. Got back to Lin's in separate taxi's and
tony had been quaffing the drinks down. Anyhow i think he threw up twice
during the night to mine and Ange's amusement you should just see the photo
i have of him.
Crashed out about 4ish. Up at 12ish then back round to Tracy's house.
Watched Mary Poppins whilst chilling out then went home.
